Royal Wedding

Friday 29th April 2011 -

Well well well, isn't today a very very important/AMAZING day hmm!? For all of you that don't know, it's actually the wedding day of Catherine Middleton and HRH Prince William! And so I am going to be writing about it in as much detail as possible so that when (if) I have children, I can be all like 'yeah dude I was totally watching the wedding, i even have my super cool blog from when i was 16 to prove it!'  so yeah here we go :) (btw this wasn't written at the exact time because I was too busy watching the wedding, so it was written at about 5ish :) therefore some bits might not be correct but yeah i tried my best :))

My day has started with getting up at about 10pm from hearing my mum and sister laughing down stairs, so I uneasily stepped into the living room making a mental note that my bed would still be warm if the wedding was boring. I actually had forgotten about the wedding when I woke up until I came downstairs - plus it started at six in the morning - and now I'm all like, 'dude i gotta watch this shizzle' so while the guests are still arriving, I'm running upstairs to get changed and make myself look a little big decent incase anyone comes to the door and I have to crawl to answer it.

By now I've plonked my arse onto the sofa where it will be staying for the next few hours and only moving to get food, drink or go to the toilet. Firstly the prince and his brother Harry arrive in style looking very lovely and smart in their suits. Where they both then greeted guests whilst waiting for the rest of their family.

The next to arrive are Kate's mother and brother. Kate's mother looking very pretty in her suit and her brother looking very smart.

A few long distant members of the royal family are then brought over in four mini vans. Along with other members of the royal family following in cars, including the two ugly step sisters (as I refer to them) and Prince Phillip with Chamilla (can't spell her name so yeah sorry x))

The next to arrive was the queen, looking lovely in her canary yellow suit.

The maid of honour, Kate's sister Pippa then arrives with the bridesmaids and the page boys, she looks stunning in that dress! Seriously that really suits her! like omg!

Catherine middleton is then on her way to the church with her father.

 She then steps out of the car to reveal that she is wearing an ivory and white silk wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander Mcqueen which i think is a lovely thing to keep his memory alive :)

She looks absolutely stunning as she walks up to the west minster abbey ! I think will's gunna have a very large shock when he sees her :) she also looks very elegant when walking up the isle :) even Harry gets a sneaky peek and mumbles to his brother 'Wait until you see her'. Then when will does see her, he tells her she looks beautiful :) awh!

Okay, so the ceremony starts at 11am and then goes on for a loooong period of time, involving some vows being said, the exchange of a ring, some hyms and then some advice from different priests etc.

They also looked lovely when walking out of the church together :) like a proper happy little couple from a fairytale!

They then had a open top carriage because the weather was nice and sunny as they came out of the church :) 

 Which then lead them into Buckingham palace for pictures.

Whilst they were taking pictures, they had the police and guards bring the crowds from the church, up to the mall so that they could see the kiss when the couple came onto the balcony of buckingham palace.

When walking onto the balcony, kate says 'wow' which really made me smile :) means shes not stuck up enough to think 'oh well i was expecting more people' :P they then kissed at around 25 past 1 :) they then kissed again when will said some along the lines of 'fancy another kiss' haha :) that had people going crazy :D. Then the planes go overhead and they look fantastic :)

Oh I gotta tell you this though guys! Before the planes go overhead, they have their first kiss and after my mum goes 'so wheres the planes then' and just after she said it, a bird goes past and i went 'there it is' and everyone laughed :') im so cool..

 

After all that, they do show again but it's about an hour or more after and they're on their way to get changed (kates dress is also another gorgeous one!) so that they can have their party and let their hair down :)

I am very happy for them both :) I can truthfully say that I have had the best time ever watching this wedding today and it's most possibly the best wedding I have/will ever see :)
