Ambre.

12th February 2012 -

My cats name is Amber, we've had her for about 12 years, we only got her because my grandma found her in a tree when she was a kitten and rescued her, we tried to find her a new home, but my mums heart melted when she'd look at us with her big chocolate brown eyes and she'd meow in her annoying but adorable way which made her immediately start purring, it was impossible not to fall in love with her. When I was about 8, my mum and me were in her bedroom looking through old pictures one day when we heard my brother shouting to look out of the window, when we did we saw Amber climbing up the street post outside our window so she could get to a bird. When the bird flew away we were sure she would fall off and hurt herself, instead she decided to come down backwards, and she survived. A few years after that she got ran over and survived, and a few more years after that she got ran over again and ended up losing her leg, but once again she survived. Our cat has been through a lot in her lifetime, they say cats have 9 lives and I'm sure my cat made the most of each and every one of them. Amber is roughly 13 years old this year, she's part of the family and we all love our three-leg little miracle..

My cats name is Amber and she died yesterday. She was very poorly and there was nothing the vet could do. I have had a lot of cats, but yesterday I cried more for the loss of Amber than I ever have before. Today I came across a video of her and some pictures which I took on Friday, and I just wanted to share my story with you all, you don't have to comment on this or even care about it, I just wanted to show you all that my cat was gorgeous and I will miss her with every bit of my heart, but that she will always live on in our family, as the cat who had three legs, had the most annoying meow ever, and who was the most lovable cat a person could wish for. I will forever love my amber baby :)

If you find a cat who doesn't have a home please don't leave it, take it home and feed it, you don't even have to do that, just make sure that cat isn't left alone, because it could be another Amber.

Nouveau départ août 2012

1st February 2012 -

Well, for the past hour or so, I decided to read some of my old posts on here, starting waaaay back in 2009 when I was much more dedicated to writing a blog. It's really weird looking back at some of the things I used to put, it's like I'm a completely different person now. Clearly I was only young and I was trying to grow up too quickly I was silly and immature, which I kinda still am, but my way of thinking is much more sensible, and so I'm going to update you on 'me'.

My name is Chloe Cherise Wood, I'm 17 years old and in my last year of sixth form at Balby Carr, I'm still working at the hairdressers on a Saturday, but I actually enjoy it now, it's a good use of my time on a Saturday :). I'm going to college after I've finished school to do my photography course which I always wished I'd have done, but I'm trying to make the most of my school years whilst I still can, which means seeing my friends as much as possible and trying not to moan too much when I'm actually at school. I still like the same kinds of films, music and food :P. My family and friends are still the most important things to me and I think myself lucky every day. Although I might moan about my life I'm actually very lucky and I'm becoming much more responsible, for example I save as much of my money as I can and only buy things I really want or need. I'm not in a relationship but it doesn't bother me, sometimes it makes me feel upset, but I'd much rather be alone than feel like I was trapped in an unhappy relationship. Once I leave school I know it's going to be so much different, but I'm ready for that, it scares me but I honestly feel ready for the adventure. Hopefully one day I will get to move away from Doncaster as it's becoming worse every year with more crimes and deaths, but I've lowered my expectations of moving to London or New York just yet, and for now, I'm hoping to go to college, and then move to Lincolnshire which is near Skegness to be nearer to my uncle and the beach :) but hopefully I'll still get to travel home regularly to see my family. Although Doncaster might be rubbish, it will always be my home, it's where all my best memories are based, and I'm not ashamed of that. I can't wait to finish school and start a fresh chapter in my life, it sounds cheesy I know, but I just can't wait to start developing my hobby into my career, and hopefully I'll meet some amazing people, but I'll never forget the amazing people I already have in my life :) and so this post is going to be dedicated to them, because they have been a massive part of my life for the past 3 years, so thankyou :)..
