1st February 2012 -
Well, for the past hour or so, I decided to read some of my old posts on here, starting waaaay back in 2009 when I was much more dedicated to writing a blog. It's really weird looking back at some of the things I used to put, it's like I'm a completely different person now. Clearly I was only young and I was trying to grow up too quickly I was silly and immature, which I kinda still am, but my way of thinking is much more sensible, and so I'm going to update you on 'me'.
My name is Chloe Cherise Wood, I'm 17 years old and in my last year of sixth form at Balby Carr, I'm still working at the hairdressers on a Saturday, but I actually enjoy it now, it's a good use of my time on a Saturday :). I'm going to college after I've finished school to do my photography course which I always wished I'd have done, but I'm trying to make the most of my school years whilst I still can, which means seeing my friends as much as possible and trying not to moan too much when I'm actually at school. I still like the same kinds of films, music and food :P. My family and friends are still the most important things to me and I think myself lucky every day. Although I might moan about my life I'm actually very lucky and I'm becoming much more responsible, for example I save as much of my money as I can and only buy things I really want or need. I'm not in a relationship but it doesn't bother me, sometimes it makes me feel upset, but I'd much rather be alone than feel like I was trapped in an unhappy relationship. Once I leave school I know it's going to be so much different, but I'm ready for that, it scares me but I honestly feel ready for the adventure. Hopefully one day I will get to move away from Doncaster as it's becoming worse every year with more crimes and deaths, but I've lowered my expectations of moving to London or New York just yet, and for now, I'm hoping to go to college, and then move to Lincolnshire which is near Skegness to be nearer to my uncle and the beach :) but hopefully I'll still get to travel home regularly to see my family. Although Doncaster might be rubbish, it will always be my home, it's where all my best memories are based, and I'm not ashamed of that. I can't wait to finish school and start a fresh chapter in my life, it sounds cheesy I know, but I just can't wait to start developing my hobby into my career, and hopefully I'll meet some amazing people, but I'll never forget the amazing people I already have in my life :) and so this post is going to be dedicated to them, because they have been a massive part of my life for the past 3 years, so thankyou :)..
