Oh my god, can't believe how much fun I had yesterday! Went to see Example in Leeds at Millennium Square and it was actually amazing :) my first concert and it certainly won't be my last :P.
Well I started off the day by having a lie in because I didn't have work, which is just a bonus really :D then I walked to Lauren's house and waited whilst she got ready and everything. Then her dad drove us to Leeds which was good because we listened to Example songs all the way there and ate chocolate, sweets and crisps ;).
When we got there, we realised we were too early, so we decided to go for a walk around Leeds museum, which was nice! Got to look at some stuffed animals :P then we went for a little walk down a couple of streets which was nice. Leeds is really different! Even their taxis are weird...
Then we decided to get in the line and wait for the doors to open at half 4. But we ended up stuck in the middle of some funny people :') in front of us was two girls who were about 14 and had 'example' written across their faces :') and behind us we had some 24 year old from Canada and a girl whose mate had ditched her so they both started talking and we basically heard both of their life stories :')
Then when we finally got into Millennium Square, and basically ran to make sure we got a space as near to the front as we possibly could :P but I ended up with a woman and her son in front of me and she kept flicking her hair into my face! I was practically eating the bloody thing! So Lauren pushed her haha ;D funny stuff!
The first support act was a girl called Nina Nesbit, she was alright but a bit slow, her songs all sounded the same :(. Then there was this woman and man (can't remember their names) who weren't too bad, they got the crowd going :) then there was a guy called Sway, who was also quite good :) and then Wretch32 who was brilliant :D and then was Example who was FUCKING AMAZING ;) he kept swearing which was funny haha :D and there was a hotel next to the square and everyone was on their balconies watching him and he saw them and shouted "fucking pikeys" haha so funny! :D then everyone was jumping around and going crazy :D there was even a mosh pit.. no joke.
All through the day, there had been inflatable dice being thrown around through the crowd, which was fun :D I hit it with my camera and filmed it ;) plus one of them hit the woman in front of me in the head haha :'D karmas a bitch! I tried to get as many pictures and videos as I could, got a few so I'm happy :) as long as I have the memories in pictures, I'm happy :D
The only thing that got annoying was the fact that everyone kept pushing forward and it was really difficult to keep balance :( I kept falling everywhere! :( especially this group of girls! My god it was so funny.. they all looked the same! All bright orange, with fake eyelashes, birds nests on their heads (messy buns) shorts which were up their arses and bright red lipstick :') so funny! There was a young couple behind us who agreed too! So me and Lauren just stood bitching about these girls to everyone around us haha :D goodtimes!
Once the concert ended me and Lauren headed to the nearest street so we could have a drink because we were thirsty as fuuuuuck! Then we had to try and find somewhere to ring her dad and ask him to come pick us up, drunk people in Leeds are funny :')
Her dad then took us to the McDonalds drive through where we both got a large Mcnugget meal and I got a fanta. I swear I've never enjoy a McDonalds so much in all my life! and that drink was bloody lovely :D then I got home and there was nobody home, which was quite nice actually :) so I got the cat and got straight into bed, after texting Lauren to say a huge thank you, obviously!
